New apps review

Under the Office Suite I liked the Google documents.  It is very user friendly and can be accessed from anywhere.  Many individuals have google accounts which again makes this app very easy to use because of prior knowledge that one would have from working with google.  Many employers as well as schools use this application already.
From my point of view I would recommend the Foto Flexer image editor.  Again it is very easy to use as well as aligns with the google document office suite.  It has a wide variety of tools to use within it and can be posted back to many other application ie facebook and picasa.  It was fun just to play with this product.

Concept map for Critical Thinking

This map represents a few of the step that a radiographer processes using their critical thinking skills when preparing to do a chest radiograph.  By plotting out this information will get the student thinking and understanding why critical thinking is so important in good patient care and doing the imaging correctly the first time, avoiding a repeat exam and over exposure to the patient.

Google map assignment

Students in my program will rotate to two different clinical sites over the next two years.  Their assignment will be to map out their route to their first clinical assignment.
